How to Rank Higher on Google Search

Getting your site setup and indexed on the biggest search engine can be a task of it’s own. You need to make sure that your on-page SEO is taken care of before even thinking about how to improve seo ranking. Many people get their site setup and immediately want to see their site sitting in a good position. Trust me, try to slow yourself down a bit and build a quality site FIRST! I suggest you have at least 5x 500 word, 100% unique articles added first.

Once your site is indexed in google and has a beginners rank, you can begin working on getting ranked higher. Now, you need to give yourself some time and get there using white hat methods. Black hat methods can only lead to getting your site de-indexed or sandboxed.

To get a higher rank in google, you need to keep your site updated with fresh content that engages visitors. If they find your articles interesting and unique, they are more likely to share with friends. You will notice across the web how a specific site can be talked about over and over on blogs, forums and social sites. Well, the chit chat going on about the specific site is leading to quality backlinks that google likes. The owner of the site simply offered information, while the visitors did all the backlinking work for them.

While creating the powerful content is your main focus, it does not always work out the way you would like it to. Do not give up so easily. You can help boost your rankings by getting backlinks manually as well. Writing quality articles and submitting them to ezinearticles and goarticles may be old methods, but they do help. Articles spinning, if done properly, will boost your rankings even more. The key to spinning your articles is to make sure that they are readable and at least 40% unique. I personally prefer re-writing articles, then submitting them to high quality article directories and web 2.0 properties.

Getting ranked higher on google will take some work, but it is completely achievable. The key is to not give up!
